Trek Day 1: Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa

We come and pick you up from your selected hotel and then drive you to mollepata for about two hours and a half in this place we stop for the first breakfast , this first meal is not included becauce we leave too early but at this place we have many Little restaurants that we can stop for it ,while we organize our equipment for the whole tour. As part of our service you will provide 5 kilos to 6 kilos of your belongings for us to carry with the horses and make it easier for you .breakfast.

After breakfast we will still drive to the starting treking point called Marcocasa and from here our advenure will start untill soraypampa wich will only take 4 hours with a descent pase and on the way we will enjoy our lunch provided by our cheff and staff.

After this delicious lunch and maybe a siesta we will still have an extra hike to get to the Humantay lake, this beautiful lake is only located one hour further up from soraypamapa this is a must then after that come bck to soraypampa and camp till next day.

Trek Day 2: Soraypampa – Salkantay pass – Huayracmachay – Chaullay

This early wake up will be with a hot coca tea at 5:30 am and will give you 30 min for you to be ready and have a nutricious breakfast. And from here will walk for 6 km to get to the highest point of our trek passing through beautiful scenaries rocky mountains, step switckback trails and high mountain passes like slkantay pass 4615 masl we always stop here for our guide to explain the misteries of ths mountains called often sacred for the locals. from here will walk one more hour downhill to huayracmachay where the cook will be waiting for us with a hot soup, hot tea and delicious lunch, and right after that walk for 3 more hours to get to chaullay for our second camping night this place is located at 2900 masl and sleep again in a our provided tent and later in the evening have lunch and rest till the next day if you fell like need a shower there is a great chance to do it if you pay 10.00 soles to the locals who rent hot showers to the tourists at this point.

Trek Day 3: Chaullay – Collpapampa – La playa – Santa teresa

By 7:00 am will start our third day trekking to la playa , this day is more a jungle felling hike cause we will walk down by the side of the clean wáter river to get to la playa is about 6 hours hike with small breaks , apreciating beautiful nature plantations of passion fruits , papayas, coffee plants and avocadoes small Little local houses on the way an interesting way of living and arriving to la playa where we will have a time to take a break after a long morning with an ice cold beer till we wait for our lunch , after lunch we will drive you to santa teresa a town where we have a camping ground to stay the thir night. In the afternoon if you like we will visit the gorgesous hotsprings of cocalmayo what a relaxing way to end up this day.

Trek Day 4: Santa Teresa – Hidroeléctrica – Aguas Calientes

Right after a delicious breaky we will walk for about 3.5 hours to get to hidroeléctrica this hike is along a road and get to the control point where we will show our Passports and then later walk to the lunch spot ,later continue walking to aguas calientes by the train tracks is about 8 km of moutain forest sometime we can see th peruvian national bird named as cook of the rock ,and may other type of birds as well as apreciating the ruins of waynapicchu and machupicchu from the base and reaching aguas calientes in the more camping cause we will stay in a hostel with private toilet and hot showers and also eating in a restaurant for our last dinner and the guide will provide you will al tickets for the last day .

Trek Day 5: Aguas calinetes – Machupicchu – Ollantaytambo – Cusco

Machupicchu day forces us up very early ,this is a worth day to wake up cause is the cherry on top , we start to hike at 4:30 am and after 30 min we will have pass trough a control show our Passports and entrances to the rangers and start our hike up to the entrance of machupicchu on the way we wil be able to see the sunrise coming through the clouds and this huge andes mountains , an incredible hike and getting to the gate at 6:00 am the tour guide will put all the group together and then get in to the site to have a historic lecture for about two hours and after that you will have the whole day to explore for yoursel ,take as many pictures as you would like obiously depending how you decided to go back to cusco on this last day .

1 Notice: many people can stay longer if you take the train back. the train leaves at 19:00 and the trains is about two hours to ollantaytambo then we have an arranged bus back to cusco for another two hours , you will be back in cusco by 22:30 pm if you go for this option you can also add in your contract in cusco to climb the mountain of huaynapicchu or machupicchu mountain

2 notice : many people also look other and cheaper options because the train is more expensive so the 5th day in machupicchu you do all the same as the rest only till 12:00 or before, because you have to walk down to get to hidroeléctrica and be there by 14:30 to get the bus back to cusco being back in cusco by 21:30 this bus journey is about 7 hours so would no chance to to other extra mountain unless you stay one more night in aguas calientes and get back the following day this is posible also just fell free to talk to us at our office in cusco.
